The Challenge
This Stanford Ranch master bathroom had the classic early-2000s builder layout: a garden tub that was never used, a separate cramped shower stall with a framed glass door, a single vanity with laminate countertop, and basic tile throughout. The homeowners wanted a complete spa-level transformation with a freestanding tub, oversized walk-in shower, and double vanity that matched their home's value in the $750,000 range.
Our Solution
We reconfigured the entire master bathroom layout, removing the garden tub alcove and small shower stall to create one large open floor plan. The new design features a stunning freestanding soaking tub as the room's focal point, an oversized walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure and dual shower heads (rain head plus handheld), a 72-inch double vanity with white quartz countertop, heated porcelain tile floors throughout, and elegant pendant lighting. Every surface was updated with large-format warm gray porcelain tile.
